AWACIO’S SECOND VISIT TO ABUJA CHILDREN ORPHANAGE HOME:

As part of AWACIO’s monthly activities, AWACIO made another rounds of visit to the Orphanage, and this time, we visited the Abuja Children Orphanage Home on July 8, 2012.

This was AWACIO’s second visit to the orphanage. The number of children at the orphanage had increased to seventy five (75) children with a corresponding increase in their staff strength to 20 (excluding the cooks), this made it possible for them to take proper care of the children. The oldest child in the Orphanage was a girl (Patricia) 16 years old in SS1.

Mrs. Francisca Imbufe (the matron) said that” if not for the help they are getting from NGOs, it would have been difficult for us to take care of the children and  prayed that God continues to bless the efforts of NGOs’.

Mrs. Blessing (the coordinator) extended their thanks and appreciation to the management of AWACIO for their timely visit. She further mentioned that they needed more infant/baby food.

Mr. Joseph Daniel (the admin manager) on expressing his gratitude stated that the orphanage is located in Karu as well as in Gwagwalada.
