AWACIO’S VISIT TO HOPE FOR SURVIVAL IN GISHIRI VILLAGE, NICON JUNCTION, ABUJA.
On the 5th of July, 2012, AWACIO visited Hope for Survival Orphanage Home.
The orphanage home is owned and managed by Mrs. Ruth Ibrahim and the orphanage has been in existence since 2004.
As at the time of AWACIO’S visit, the orphanage had a total of 48 children of different age brackets of which the oldest was a girl of 18 years.
They also have a school (Hope for Survival School, Gishiri, Abuja) within the premises.
According to Mr. Kafas (the Orphanage’s Coordinator), the orphanage is being financed by donations from NGOs, Corporate bodies and individuals.
